"Sayaka-chan!“ Madoka called, ”are you sure about this?“
The human grasped tightly onto the magi’s hand. The labyrinth was dangerous, however she knew she was safe with Sayaka. After all, she was her best friend. Madoka looked up at the puella magi, who looked almost fearless.
“I wonder if you have a name or an owner.” She wasn’t totally uneducated on what went on in the world outside her room. As a child, she spent a lot of time out of her room actually! That was until she was locked away. Now she was outside and free to roam around. Of course, with Killua watching over her that is.
"Oh, my name is Alluka! It’s nice to meet you kitty! I just wish I knew what your name was. It would be a lot easier to address you instead of calling you kitty.”
[Suddenly, a brilliant idea popped up in the feline's head. She struggled to escape from Alluka's arms, and jumped onto the ground.]
[Madoka used her left paw and tried her best to write her name. She looked back up towards the girl when she was finished; seemingly prideful of her work. She sat up straight, almost like a person. Then she realized how uncomfortable it was, and sat as a cat would.]
"You should really dye your hair a different color~"
”Why— -” Madoka paused, staring at the girl. Was that… h e r? Her jaw dropped, and she stared in disbelief. She must be dreaming. This is impossible. Isn’t it?
This little ball of fur liked her! A wide grin spread across her face as the cat nuzzled against her soft hand and leaned into her touch. It made her unbelievably happy that this cat adored her affection.
“I should show onii-chan! But, I don’t know where he went. When he comes back I’ll introduce you two!” Gently, she slipped her hands under the cat’s armpits and hoisted the creature up with no problem.
"I hope you don’t mind if I carry you.”
”Meow!“
[Unexpectedly, the feline was pulled up from off the ground. It was uncomfortable at first, however she soon nuzzled herself into the girl's arms.]
[She looked up at the girl, what appeared to be a smile was plastered onto her furry face. The cat thought of how the girl's hair reminded her of an old friend. Yet, her kindness reminded her of another. It was too bad she could not speak in this form, because she wanted to know more about the girl.]
The petite girl searched her surroundings, noticing something was different. Although, she just couldn’t quite put her finger on what was different. Quickly, Madoka looked down; she noticed she had feet again! A bright smile crossed her face. It was fun being a cat, however, her friends and family didn’t recognize her at all. She couldn’t even sleep in her own bed! So it was good to be back to normal. Her mother, Junko allowed her to sleep in the garden. From what she heard, she was worried sick and looking for Madoka everywhere.
It would be almost impossible to explain to her mother, “oh mama, by the way, I was that pink cat you took care of.” How nonsensical is that? What would her mother think? Yet, it didn’t feel right to lie. What could she say in excuse of her absence?
[The pink cat looked up at the panda racing towards her. She did not have the strength to catch it, being a cat. However, she wasn't aware of that. Infact, she had almost forgotten she was stuck as a cat. Madoka leaped up as far as her hind legs could get her and tried to grab the panda with her paws.]
